So you like what you see? We hope so, however before you request an application we suggest that you do some research regarding Zanzibar, thanks to Wikipedia and Google you can find out nearly everything you need to know. If your application is successful we will then give you plenty of information about the specific village you will be placed in, what happens when you arrive, and a detailed packing list. Because we know that you will want to find out as much as possible before you set off we will also pair you up with a previous volunteer so you can email them with anything you wish to know.
Zanzibar consists of 2 beautiful and fascinating islands, both steeped in history, strategically placed on ancient trading routes. It is a melting pot of culture, race and tradition. Swahili people are naturally hospitable, kind and extremely friendly. The village is a very safe place in which to live, in fact we will go further and say it's probably safer than where you live now!
